United Business Centres (UBC) have announced a deal with Real Estate Investors (REI) to open a new serviced office in Bromsgrove. UBC and the West Bromwich-based property investment company are to set up the new business centre at Bruntsford Gate Business Park in Bromsgrove. The office space will be located in Avon House and will occupy 7,223sq ft on the second floor of the building with refurbishment already underway and UBC Bromsgrove is expected to be open for business within a few weeks.
The new centre will take the total in the UBC network to 22, with a strong presence in the Midlands area, including Solihull, Worcester, Stafford and Coventry. UBC Managing Director Philip Grace commented: “The new centre in Bromsgrove fortifies our Midlands coverage. We are committed to developing our portfolio in the region, which we have identified as a hot-bed of business growth. The new Bromsgrove centre further demonstrates our commitment to this area.”
Paul Warder, Asset Manager for REI, added: “The serviced office sector represents a significant opportunity for growth at a challenging time for the commercial property market. This deal with UBC gives us a foothold in the sector whilst maximising occupancy at one of our prime locations.”
