Computeam, a North West based IT services business provides consultancy, training and service support to public and private sector clients, they have chosen to set up a branch operation in Hurricane Court, Liverpool to service their expanding client base in the city. United Business Centres have announced plans to open a new serviced office adjacent to Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport. The new centre will be their first in Liverpool and will be located on the Liverpool International Business Park just minutes from the M62 motorway and the city centre. Offices will be available from 2 to 83 workstations split over two floors, with some benefiting from views of the Garston Coastal Reserve and River Mersey.
DBH Serviced Business Centres have opened a centre in Ellesmere Port. The three story centre in Cheshire is located on the Pioneer Business Park and has great access to Chester, Liverpool and Manchester. With office space from just one workstation up to a whole floor, whatever your business requires you will be able to find it here. As well as 400 workstations, there are four meeting rooms and plenty of onsite parking.
Bruntwood have won the Regional Property Developer of the Year Award in Liverpool. The awards, sponsored by the Liverpool Daily Post, took place last Friday 14th April at the BT Convention Centre in Liverpool’s Albert Docks. Bruntwood invested more than £9m in 2007 in Merseyside and that is set to increase to £14m in 2008.
Director of Asset Management in Liverpool, Stephen Morris commented “It’s the people and their businesses who offer the greatest asset to any region, and Bruntwood are proud to support the businesses of Merseyside by delivering a product and service that matches their needs”.
The serviced office provider Bruntwood have announced that they are sponsoring Go Superlambanana as part of Liverpool’s 2008 Capital of Culture event. The Superlambanana, half lamb half banana sculpture, was originally conceived by Japanese artist Tara Chiezo to warn against the dangers of genetically modified food but is now going to be seen all over the city. In June the superlambanas will be all over Liverpool, including some 1.8m high specimens that will have been transformed by celebrities, artists and local residents.
Bruntwood, the office space provider, are aiming for an increase in the number of serviced office workstations that they provide. They currently have 1500 workstations in the north of England and by 2009 they plan to increase that number to 2200. The new offices will build on their knowledge of the northern business market. Bruntwood currently have business centres in Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds and Manchester.
Regus have announced that they are to open a new business centre in Exchange Flags in Liverpool. The new serviced office centre will be located in a grade II listed building within the city’s World Heritage Site which has superb transport links around the city and beyond. Liverpool is this year’s 2008 European Capital of Culture and is celebrating with various artistic and musical events, including a concert by Sir Paul McCartney at Liverpool FC’s Anfield ground.
