The number of Staines Serviced Offices have stayed the same for the past five years. Regus were the first serviced office operator to enter the Staines market in the Watermans Business Park. This was closely followed a few years later by MWB Business Exchange who opened in Centurion House and then right when the Staines market was at its worst Orega opened up in Fairfield House.
Staines is in a fantastic location, the proximity to London and Heathrow have attracted a number of companies, Bupa, Logica and Lotus all have major offices. Samsung and Centrica also have national offices in Staines.
So with all these corporate companies in Staines, why are there only 3 serviced office operators. It’s difficult to say as occupancy levels are high, probably the highest they’ve been for the past 5 years. Maybe now is the time for a new operator to enter the market.

I first worked in Staines about ten years ago before the two rivers centre opened and it wasn’t great to be honest, after working elsewhere for a few years I returned last year and the difference is amazing. The whole town has a buzz about it and isn’t just lads racing round the one way system as it used to be! For me working locally beats commuting into town every day, it was fun to start with but being squashed on the tube gets to you after a while.
