There are nine Victoria serviced offices all in close proximity to Victoria train station. No one wants to walk more than five minutes from the station to their office and every one can be reached within that threshold. From the closest serviced office, Abbey Business Centres that is basically on the station on Buckingham Palace Road to the trek! of 5 minutes to MWB and Avanta up Victoria Street…possibly longer if you stop along the way in PrĂȘt or McDonalds for an early morning skinny latte.
Victoria is a great place to work with a real buzz and mix of Government officials, business people and tourists. There’s a great mix of shops, restaurants and bars to choose from. Anyway back to the serviced offices….
Citibase on Warwick Row is possibly the most economical along with First Base in Grosvenor Gardens both only minutes walk from the station entrance. If you want to go to the other extreme then have a look at Regus in Stage Place, Portland House, the tallest building in the area, also the brand new Abbey Business Centres, both are very high quality. Regus has some fantastic views and with the right office you can peer into Buckingham Palace’s gardens. Abbey is brand new with an amazing fit out.
This is a great market for any company looking for serviced offices in London, plenty to choose from which means competition on prices. The availability of space changes all the time depending on what government department is expanding and needing a temporary home. The Victoria serviced office market is susceptible to downturns so it will be interesting to see how it survives the fooling 2 years with the immanent recessionary doom and gloom.
