UK serviced office operator Avanta has established a new specialist team in India to facilitate the company’s ambitious expansion drive into this new market.

UK Serviced office operator Avanta has completed the next phase of its expansion drive into India by signing a leasehold on a flagship building in Mumbai.

Avanta has announced that is to open a new business centre in Ealing Broadway. The new centre is due to open in September and will provide 16,700 sq ft of office space spread over four floors in West London. Avanta are expanding rapidly and this new centre will be their fifth to open in 2008. A spokesman for Avanta said “This is the latest milestone in the company’s on-going growth strategy to roll out the Avanta brand nationwide. We are in the market for buildings in the right location where there is strong demand for flexible, competitively priced, serviced office facilities”.
Regus have announced that they are going to open a new business centre in the Cherry Creek North area of Denver. The new 15,000 sq ft offices will be their twelfth in the city and will provide 142 workstations, located just ten minutes from downtown Denver and only 30 minutes of Denver International Airport. The number of serviced offices in Chertsey has increased thanks to a new development by Network Data Holding. Their new offices in Chilsey House join those of Orega and Regus who have been in the Surrey town for a while now. Chertsey, with a population of 19,000, is an hour from Waterloo by train, is close to the M3 and M25 motorways and is less than six miles from Heathrow Airport making it an ideal base for your business if you need to visit clients.

United Business Centres plc (UBC) has announced Webster Court in Warrington as the location for another new serviced office. The new centre follows its recent partnership with Cheshire-based Gladman Developments having already announced plans for business centre’s in seven locations across the country. Avanta have launched their latest serviced offices in the City of London. Located in the heart of the City in Austin Friars the new 55,000 sq ft offices adds to Avanta’s total to eleven serviced offices in the UK with over 380,000 sq ft of space being managed by the company. With space available from a two person office up to a 9,000 sq ft whole floor and with meeting rooms, an unbranded reception and wi-fi communal areas available, it is no surprise to learn that the building is already two thirds let. Work has started on new serviced offices in Hexham, Northumberland. The project which has been designed by and is being run by Property Design Matters Ltd is due for completion in 2009. This is the second phase of development at Beaufront Park and will provide a further 25,000 sq ft of offices with 4,000 sq ft of those being serviced. Chairman of Property Design Gordon Currie commented on the project, There’ll be nothing else quite like it in the Tyne Valley. Tenants will be able to rent everything, including telephones, desks and reception services.”
Regus are set to open a new serviced office in New Orleans. The new 25,000 sq ft business centre will be their first in the city and will provide local businesses with furnished office accommodation on flexible terms. Located on the 25th floor of the Place Saint Charles Building in downtown New Orleans, Regus will be offering 65 offices, two conference rooms and coming soon a video-conferencing suite. Commenting on the new property Michael Berretta, Vice President of Business Development for Regus said “New Orleans is one of the few major markets in which we didn’t have a presence, so when the opportunity to acquire a business centre in such a high profile building presented itself we immediately seized the opportunity.”
BT has signed a deal with United Business Centres plc (UBC), one of the UK’s fastest growing serviced office providers, to put business centres in strategic locations totalling 99,000 sq ft across four sites in Fleet, Bracknell, Gloucester and Telford. The Agreement, with GVA Grimley and Telereal representing BT, sees UBC operate its serviced office centres at the sites via a Management Agreement with BT. Fit out at all four locations has already begun and the new centres are expected to be open for business within a few weeks.
